The Opportunity:

As an IT Support Administrator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the school’s digital infrastructure and ensuring seamless technological support for staff and students. This is a key position in supporting the school’s mission to provide a modern and inclusive educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line IT support and technical assistance to staff and students.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
  • Maintain and manage the school’s IT systems, including servers, workstations, and peripherals.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the school’s digital data and systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement IT solutions that support educational goals.
  • Monitor and report on system performance and usage.
  • Assist with the deployment and configuration of new IT equipment and software.
  • Keep detailed records of all support cases and resolutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of desktop and network technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience with IT service management tools.
