The Opportunity:
As an IT Support Administrator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the school’s digital infrastructure and ensuring seamless technological support for staff and students. This is a key position in supporting the school’s mission to provide a modern and inclusive educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line IT support and technical assistance to staff and students.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Maintain and manage the school’s IT systems, including servers, workstations, and peripherals.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the school’s digital data and systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement IT solutions that support educational goals.
- Monitor and report on system performance and usage.
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of new IT equipment and software.
- Keep detailed records of all support cases and resolutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in IT support or a related field.
- Strong understanding of desktop and network technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with IT service management tools.
