As an IT Support Technician, you will provide essential IT and MIS support across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff and students across multiple locations.
- Manage hardware, software, and infrastructure support for schools within the group.
- Work closely with staff to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Deliver ad-hoc training and support to users where required.
- Identify and escalate complex technical issues to IT management in a timely manner.
- Support MIS management and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and technical support across all IT functions.
- Contribute to the implementation of the school’s cloud-first strategy and cyber security initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A good understanding of IT and technology.
- Experience in providing IT and MIS support in a multi-site environment.
- A full clean UK driving licence and own transport.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Previous experience in an educational IT environment.
- Familiarity with cloud-based services and cyber security practices.
- Experience with IT support in a school or similar organisation.
- A fast learner with the ability to follow processes and procedures.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary between £26,000 and £29,000.
- 5% employer pension contribution.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays per year.
