The Opportunity:
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal development of young learners aged 5–7. You will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the UK curriculum, creating a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of students
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback
- Maintain effective communication with parents and colleagues
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support student learning and development
- Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement
- Utilize educational technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in primary or elementary education
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills
- Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons
- Strong communication skills for working with students, parents, and colleagues
Preferred
- Experience with educational technology in teaching practice
- Experience in an international school setting
- Familiarity with the Early Career Teachers programme or similar professional development initiatives
