Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum.
  • Foster a classroom environment that promotes respect, courage, and cooperation.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching practices and share best practices.
  • Participate in school-wide events, including Forest School, sports, and cultural activities.

  • Maintain strong communication with parents and the wider school community.
  • Contribute to the ongoing professional development of the teaching team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • UK teaching qualification (PGCE or B.Ed.) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 in the UK or an international setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum.

Preferred

  • Experience in outdoor learning or Forest School environments.
  • Familiarity with international school systems and cross-cultural working.
  • Demonstrated success in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology integration.
