The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Key Stage 1 lessons that align with the National Curriculum of England.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and academic success.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing detailed and constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Participate in school-wide events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support student growth and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and pedagogical approaches.
  • Support students in developing key skills such as literacy, numeracy, and social development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a UK Department for Education teacher reference number or equivalent non-UK qualifications.
  • Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students or equivalent level.
  • Commitment to providing a high-quality, student-centered education.

Preferred

  • Experience with Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in a multicultural or international educational setting.
  • Familiarity with British curriculum standards and assessment practices.
