We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early years education and committed to delivering high-quality teaching aligned with the National Curriculum of England and Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 1 students in line with the National Curriculum.
- Support students in developing essential literacy and numeracy skills.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular learning experiences.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- Contribute to the school’s continuous improvement and innovation in teaching practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 1 education.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum of England and Wales.
- Excellent spoken and written English with a solid understanding of grammar.
- Proven ability to meet the needs of young learners.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching English as a second language.
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate or Cambridge International Examinations.
- Experience in the Early Career Teacher (ECT) support process.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
