Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Key Stage 2 lessons aligned with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and English National Curriculum.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support student progress and achievement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects and school-wide initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
  • Support extracurricular activities and school events as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 2 education.
  • Strong knowledge of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and English National Curriculum.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience in an international school setting.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
  • Familiarity with the IB curriculum.
  • Experience working in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Leadership experience or experience mentoring new teachers.
  • Fluency in additional languages.
