Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Key Stage 2 lessons in line with the English National Curriculum
- Support the development and implementation of the school’s Guiding Statements and Values
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the local community to support student success
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement in learning outcomes
- Participate in co-curricular activities and school events to enhance student engagement
- Stay up to date with current educational practices and incorporate innovative teaching methods
- Provide individualized support to students to meet their academic and personal needs
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Key Stage 2 education
- Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and its delivery
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to student-centered learning and personal development
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships with students and parents
Preferred
- Experience with international curricula such as IGCSE or IB
- Familiarity with English as a Second Language support
- Experience in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities
- Fluency in another language, such as French or Arabic
- Previous experience working in an international school setting
