Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Key Stage 2 lessons in line with the English National Curriculum
  • Support the development and implementation of the school’s Guiding Statements and Values
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the local community to support student success
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement in learning outcomes
  • Participate in co-curricular activities and school events to enhance student engagement
  • Stay up to date with current educational practices and incorporate innovative teaching methods
  • Provide individualized support to students to meet their academic and personal needs

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Key Stage 2 education
  • Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and its delivery
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to student-centered learning and personal development
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships with students and parents

Preferred

  • Experience with international curricula such as IGCSE or IB
  • Familiarity with English as a Second Language support
  • Experience in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities
  • Fluency in another language, such as French or Arabic
  • Previous experience working in an international school setting
