Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the classroom learning environment, ensuring all students are supported and challenged effectively.
- Deliver engaging and meaningful lessons that inspire and motivate learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the year group and school.
- Create a positive and dynamic classroom culture that fosters a passion for learning and language development.
- Implement high-quality assessment practices that support student learning and well-being.
- Contribute to the school’s co-curricular programme, including arts, sports, and service learning opportunities.
- Support the school’s commitment to child protection, safeguarding, and holistic education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised teaching qualification from the UK or a Commonwealth country.
- At least 2 years of whole class teaching experience.
- Experience teaching in more than one school.
- Experience working in a British-style education setting.
- Positive references from 2 different Heads of School or Heads of Primary.
Preferred
- Understanding of high-quality Global Citizenship Education in an international school setting.
- Creative use of technology for learning.
- Experience teaching outdoor education activities, projects, or units of learning.
- Experience with the National Curriculum of England or IB Diploma Programme.
