Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and manage a balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum to pupils.
- Support subject initiatives and contribute to departmental and school-wide strategies.
- Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress to ensure continuous improvement.
- Raise subject standards through innovative teaching and effective classroom practice.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement teaching strategies.
- Engage with pupils and parents to support student achievement and well-being.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Key Stage 2 education.
- Strong understanding of dyslexia specialist teaching methods.
- Proven ability to deliver a differentiated and inclusive curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and personal development.
Preferred
- Experience working in a co-educational independent school setting.
- Familiarity with outdoor education and adventure activities.
- Experience with the Council for the Registration of Schools Teaching Dyslexic Pupils (CReStEd).
