Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum of England and Wales.
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the needs of Key Stage 2 learners.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and school-wide initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 2 education.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum of England and Wales.
- Fluency in English with a solid understanding of grammar and usage.
- Proven ability to meet the needs of Key Stage 2 learners.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience with continuous professional development and teacher training.
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) or Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) curriculum.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
- Previous involvement in the Early Career Teacher (ECT) support process.
