Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and inspire students at Key Stage 4
- Lead and support the development of the Maths curriculum and assessment strategies
- Analyze student data to inform teaching and improve outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance departmental performance
- Provide professional guidance and mentorship to junior teachers and support staff
- Ensure the implementation of inclusive and innovative teaching methods
- Work closely with pastoral teams to support student progress and well-being
- Contribute to the school’s wider strategic goals and initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at Key Stage 4
- A commitment to high standards, student success, and professional growth
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Experience in curriculum design and assessment
- Ability to analyze and interpret student data effectively
Preferred
- Experience in a leadership role within a school or department
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and software
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Background in professional development and staff training
