Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Key Stage 4 Science curriculum to ensure high-quality learning and student outcomes.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective assessment strategies.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice within the science department.

  • Work closely with other subject leads to support cross-curricular initiatives and student engagement.
  • Represent the science department in school-wide meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality science education at Key Stage 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom teaching skills in Science.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of teachers.
  • Experience in curriculum design and assessment strategies.
