Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the kitchen with deliveries, washing up, and general cleanliness.
- Work within tight timescales to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with the school’s standards.
- Collaborate with Sous-Chefs and Head Chef to support the team.
- Support the team in a harmonious and professional manner.
- Adhere to the shift rota, including unpaid lunch breaks.
- Ensure all duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Uphold the school’s commitment to a positive and inclusive working atmosphere.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in a kitchen or similar environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adhere to a shift rota.
- Strong attention to detail and a clean, professional attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in a kitchen environment.
- Experience with school or educational institution operations.
