Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging, academically rich, and innovative lessons aligned with the Cambridge KS1 Curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that caters to diverse learning needs and promotes student engagement.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to effectively implement the school’s Primary KS1 Curriculum.
  • Integrate technology seamlessly into teaching to enhance learning outcomes and organizational efficiency.
  • Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress and academic achievements.
  • Build positive and supportive relationships with students to foster confidence and a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons and share resources, contributing to a culture of continuous professional development.
  • Engage in ongoing professional learning and reflect on best practices to enhance teaching effectiveness.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and enrichment programs to support holistic student development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status with a Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience in the UK or an international British curriculum school.
  • Strong knowledge of the Cambridge KS1 Curriculum and pedagogical best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute effective teaching strategies.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or bilingual education.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices and special needs support.
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology in the classroom for enhanced learning.
  • Experience in a multicultural or international educational setting.
