The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a motivated and creative KS2 Classroom Teacher to join its dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the English National Curriculum.
  • Support students in developing strong reading and writing skills.
  • Implement personalised learning strategies and provide effective feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
  • Use a range of educational programs such as White Rose, Accelerated Reader, and STAR Maths & STAR Reading.
  • Promote student agency and critical thinking through inquiry-based learning.
  • Maintain a supportive and enriched classroom environment that encourages holistic development.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and school initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Recognised teaching qualifications.
  • Experience using the English National Curriculum.
  • Proven experience in teaching reading and writing.
  • Understanding of personalised learning, feedback, and assessment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Passionate, caring, and team-focused attitude.

Preferred

  • Experience with White Rose, Accelerated Reader, STAR Maths & STAR Reading, Tapestry, or Learning Ladders.
  • Experience in a British international school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Experience in developing the whole child in a supportive learning environment.
