The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a passionate and experienced KS2 Primary School Teacher to join its team on a full-time basis. This role provides the opportunity to shape young minds in an international setting, delivering engaging lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning outcomes
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment that promotes student engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Contribute to school life through extracurricular activities and community engagement
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners
- Stay up to date with educational trends and continuously improve teaching practices
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor Honours Degree in Education
- PGCE or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in primary education
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles
- Proficient classroom management skills
Preferred
- Experience teaching in an international or bilingual setting
- Familiarity with British curriculum standards and assessment practices
- Experience with inclusive education and supporting diverse learners
- Proficiency in Spanish or other languages
