The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Law Teacher to join its team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Law that inspire and challenge students.
  • Contribute to the development and review of the school’s ambitious curriculum.
  • Support students in achieving academic success through effective teaching and pastoral care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning.
  • Participate in a comprehensive CPD programme tailored to individual career stages.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments to support student progress.
  • Engage in school-wide initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Law.
  • Experience of teaching Law at Key Stage 4 and/or Key Stage 5.
  • Commitment to student success and a belief in the power of education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Preferred

  • Experience of working in a school with a strong focus on curriculum development.
  • Experience of leading or contributing to professional learning communities.
  • Experience with evidence-based teaching practices.
  • Experience of working within a Multi Academy Trust.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary in line with MPS/UPS (£32,916 - £51,048).
  • Part-time position (0.4 FTE) with a fixed-term contract until 31st August 2026.
