The Opportunity:

As a Lead BSO Inspector, you will play a key role in evaluating educational institutions overseas, drawing on your extensive experience in UK education standards. This position is ideal for ex-HMI and Ofsted inspectors looking to expand their expertise internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of schools in accordance with BSO standards.
  • Provide detailed and actionable reports based on findings.
  • Collaborate with international teams to ensure consistency and quality in inspection processes.
  • Stay up to date with UK and international education policies and practices.
  • Support the continuous improvement of schools through constructive feedback.
  • Travel internationally as required to perform inspections.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders including school leadership and government bodies.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and inspection frameworks.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as an ex-HMI or Ofsted inspector in the UK.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK education standards and practices.
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for inspection work.

Preferred

  • Experience with overseas school inspections.
  • Familiarity with international education frameworks.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Experience in consultancy or training within the education sector.
