The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Lead Drama Teacher with English to join our growing department and shape the future of Drama at Key Stage 4. This role also involves contributing to the English curriculum at Key Stage 3. The ideal candidate will be passionate about performing arts and committed to delivering high-quality lessons and memorable productions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Drama curriculum at Key Stage 4, ensuring it meets the highest standards.
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Drama and English at Key Stage 3.
- Organise and lead school productions, promoting the performing arts across the school.
- Manage and develop co-curricular clubs and enrichment activities related to Drama.
- Plan and lead educational trips that enhance students' learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support student development.
- Monitor and assess student progress in Drama and English.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular involvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Drama and English.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality lessons and lead successful productions.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Commitment to student engagement and academic excellence.
Preferred
