The Opportunity:

As a Learning Centre Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable students and helping them achieve full integration back into mainstream learning. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student lives through personalized learning and effective coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage bespoke provisions for students within the Learning Centre.
  • Develop and implement personalized timetables for individual students and groups.
  • Work closely with the Inclusion team and senior leadership to ensure student engagement and progress.
  • Deliver alternative courses and qualifications to support student achievement.
  • Promote the learning and welfare of students with a focus on long-term integration into mainstream education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and support student success.
  • Maintain effective safeguarding and support measures in line with the school’s policies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s learning environment and practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in working with vulnerable or at-risk students.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in educational support or inclusion settings.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience in coordinating learning provisions or alternative education programs.
  • Background in teaching or education support roles.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices and strategies.
  • Experience with curriculum development or delivery of alternative qualifications.
