The Opportunity:

As a Learning Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting secondary students with their learning, confidence, and wellbeing. This is a term-time only position offering the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with their learning through tailored, individualised approaches
Help students build independence, resilience, and a sense of achievement
Work with students with additional needs, including SEND and EAL
Develop strong, trusting relationships with students and their families
Encourage positive behaviour and social development
Provide a consistent, caring presence throughout students' school journey
Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance student outcomes
Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

GCSE English and Maths (grade C/4 or above) or willingness to achieve Level 2 Functional Skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to use IT effectively
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
Positive, patient, and approachable attitude
Passion for making a difference in students’ lives

Preferred

Previous experience supporting children or young people
Experience with Teaching Assistant apprenticeships or similar qualifications
Experience working with students with additional needs
