The Opportunity:

A Learning Enhancement Teacher is needed to support students in the International Primary Stream. This role involves providing targeted academic support in English and Maths, working with students who may have additional needs or English as a second language. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative and innovative teaching team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with English as a second language and those with additional needs.
• Develop and implement individual education plans in collaboration with teachers and parents.
• Deliver EAL support in line with the school curriculum and national standards.
• Use technology to enhance learning and provide scaffolded support.
• Monitor and report on student progress using a range of assessment methods.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the best possible provision for students.
• Teach specific programmes tailored to student goals and monitor their effectiveness.
• Keep accurate records of students with individual needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
• An internationally accepted degree and teaching qualification.
• Experience working with students with additional needs or English as a second language.
• Ability to develop and implement individual education plans.
• Experience in a multicultural and international educational setting.

Preferred

• Experience with the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) and International Primary Curriculum (IPC).
• Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
• Proficiency in using educational technologies to support learning.
• Experience in providing support for gifted and talented students.
