Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver individualized learning plans to support students across the IB MYP and DP programmes.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance student achievement and engagement.
  • Provide targeted academic support and guidance to students requiring additional assistance.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the school’s pastoral and co-curricular programmes, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and teaching staff.
  • Participate in professional development and stay current with best practices in learning enhancement and educational support.
  • Support the school’s mission and values, including a commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in learning enhancement or special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of the IB MYP and DP programme.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with willingness to undergo required checks.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school setting.
  • Familiarity with British curriculum standards and educational practices.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Knowledge of assistive technologies and learning support tools.
