Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver high-quality cover lessons in a variety of subjects to support student learning.

  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure a seamless transition during absences.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and learning practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in teaching or learning support across multiple subjects.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A calm and confident disposition, with the ability to manage student behaviour effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school setting, particularly within a multi-academy trust or similar educational structure.
  • Previous experience in a cover supervisor or similar role.
  • Familiarity with the latest educational practices and technologies.
  • Experience in professional development and training for classroom practitioners.
