The Opportunity:

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Learning Resource Centre Assistant to support both staff and students across a range of programs. This is a fixed-term role that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a high-achieving educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist staff and students with resources and information across a range of College programs.
  • Provide efficient and customer-focused support to ensure a smooth learning experience.
  • Manage and maintain learning resources, including digital and physical materials.
  • Collaborate with the LRC team to deliver a responsive and supportive service.
  • Use Microsoft and Google Suite applications to support the learning and administrative needs of the College.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of initiatives within the LRC.
  • Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all users of the LRC.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft and Google Suite applications.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with students and staff.
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with 16-18 year old students.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and deliver a high standard of service.

Preferred

  • Experience in a learning resource centre or similar educational support role.
  • Previous experience in a school or college environment.
  • Familiarity with IT systems used in educational settings.
  • Experience in providing pastoral support or student services.
