Learning Resource Centre Assistant - Fixed Term Contract available at a school in Farnborough, Hampshire.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Learning Resource Centre Assistant to support both staff and students across a range of programs. This is a fixed-term role that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a high-achieving educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist staff and students with resources and information across a range of College programs.
- Provide efficient and customer-focused support to ensure a smooth learning experience.
- Manage and maintain learning resources, including digital and physical materials.
- Collaborate with the LRC team to deliver a responsive and supportive service.
- Use Microsoft and Google Suite applications to support the learning and administrative needs of the College.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of initiatives within the LRC.
- Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all users of the LRC.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Good knowledge of Microsoft and Google Suite applications.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with students and staff.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with 16-18 year old students.
- Ability to work as part of a team and deliver a high standard of service.
Preferred
- Experience in a learning resource centre or similar educational support role.
- Previous experience in a school or college environment.
- Familiarity with IT systems used in educational settings.
- Experience in providing pastoral support or student services.
