The Opportunity:

As a Learning Support Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the Learning Support and EAL teams, helping to ensure that all pupils receive the assistance they need to succeed. This role is key to maintaining a smooth and inclusive learning environment for students of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate meetings with external agencies, colleagues, and parents.
  • Maintain accurate records of interventions, pupil support timetables, and support lists.
  • Administer internal examinations, draft invigilation timetables, and collect pupils for assessments.
  • Support the administration of transition documents for pupils joining or leaving the school.
  • Record and disseminate information from parent meetings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Populate and distribute forms with pupil details and take minutes of team meetings.
  • Schedule and manage assessments in line with assessors’ availability and keep records of prospective pupils.
  • File leavers’ records for both Learning Support and EAL teams.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and carers of supported pupils.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in an educational or administrative support role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with educational support processes and procedures.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a Learning Support or EAL team.
  • Knowledge of special educational needs and inclusive learning practices.
  • Experience with administrative software and record-keeping systems.
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple priorities.
