Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with learning and wellbeing needs in a primary school setting
  • Assist in the delivery of teaching strategies tailored to individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure pupil progress
  • Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, respectful learning environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of inclusive and diverse practices
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with all stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in providing learning or wellbeing support for children in a primary school setting
  • Knowledge of child development and teaching strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Effective behaviour management skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

  • Experience with inclusion, diversity, and equality initiatives
  • Familiarity with Catholic Social Teaching principles
  • Background in educational support or related field
