Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with learning and wellbeing needs in a primary school setting
- Assist in the delivery of teaching strategies tailored to individual needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure pupil progress
- Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, respectful learning environment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of inclusive and diverse practices
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Participate in professional development and training initiatives
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and welfare
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in providing learning or wellbeing support for children in a primary school setting
- Knowledge of child development and teaching strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Effective behaviour management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred
- Experience with inclusion, diversity, and equality initiatives
- Familiarity with Catholic Social Teaching principles
- Background in educational support or related field
