The Opportunity:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students across all areas of need. This is a part-time, term-time position offering flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with targeted interventions across all areas of need.
- Assist in lessons, working with various pupils to enhance their learning experience.
- Provide personal care support in line with individual needs.
- Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure consistent support and progress.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Keep accurate records of student progress and interventions.
- Adapt to changing school needs and work flexible hours as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent communication skills with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Experience working with students with a range of needs.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing demands.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of students.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Reliability, enthusiasm, and a team-player attitude.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices.
- Experience with personal care duties.
- Familiarity with the principles of special educational needs support.
