The Opportunity:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students across all areas of need. This is a part-time, term-time position offering flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with targeted interventions across all areas of need.
  • Assist in lessons, working with various pupils to enhance their learning experience.
  • Provide personal care support in line with individual needs.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure consistent support and progress.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and interventions.
  • Adapt to changing school needs and work flexible hours as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent communication skills with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Experience working with students with a range of needs.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing demands.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of students.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Reliability, enthusiasm, and a team-player attitude.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of inclusive education practices.
  • Experience with personal care duties.
  • Familiarity with the principles of special educational needs support.
