As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs, helping them achieve their full potential in all areas of the curriculum. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special needs in a one-to-one or small group setting
  • Assist with the delivery of learning activities across the curriculum
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop individual learning plans
  • Monitor and report on student progress and development
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working in a similar school environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Organised and detail-oriented with a professional attitude
  • Commitment to supporting students with special needs

Preferred

  • Previous experience in special needs education
  • Qualifications in education or related fields
  • Experience with curriculum development and delivery
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection policies
