The Opportunity:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students and teachers to help every child reach their potential. This is a fixed-term opportunity with the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individual pupils and small groups with educational activities and learning programmes.
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning experiences and classroom organisation.
- Encourage positive relationships and social development among students.
- Help prepare and maintain learning materials and classroom displays.
- Accompany students on educational visits and transport as required.
- Contribute to pupil progress reports and share insights during staff meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- A patient, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual.
- Experience working with children and a commitment to supporting their development.
Preferred
- Experience in a specialist education setting.
- Knowledge of therapeutic or emotional support strategies.
- Previous experience in a school or educational environment.
