The Opportunity:
A Learning Support Practitioner is needed to support students with their educational and social needs, while also offering technical assistance to Production Arts and ESA Productions. This role plays a key part in helping students achieve their full potential in a dynamic and creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with special educational needs and disabilities in both academic and social settings.
- Provide technical assistance to Production Arts and ESA Productions, ensuring smooth operation of creative projects.
- Collaborate with the SENCO to develop and implement individual learning plans.
- Assist in the delivery of tailored support to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and support interventions.
- Support students in developing essential life and employability skills.
- Work closely with teaching and support staff to ensure a consistent approach to student welfare.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in working with students with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of technical production processes in film, TV, or theatre.
- Experience with assistive technologies or learning support tools.
- Understanding of industry-standard practices in the creative sector.
