The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with additional needs through individualised learning plans and targeted interventions.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure consistent and effective learning strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to both students and staff.
  • Deliver one-to-one and small group support sessions to enhance student engagement and achievement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide support policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture, encouraging student participation and confidence.
  • Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
  • Experience in providing learning support within a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with a range of learning needs.
  • Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices and differentiated instruction.
  • Experience in using assistive technology to support learning.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies in a school environment.
