Key Responsibilities:

  • Support learners with complex needs through personalized learning strategies and individualized education plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective learning interventions.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to stakeholders.
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to a wide range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student support and progress.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Work closely with the Thrive provision to ensure all learners receive the support they need to succeed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in learning support or special educational needs.
  • Strong knowledge of inclusive education and differentiated instruction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school environment.
  • Familiarity with British curriculum standards.
  • Experience with the Thrive approach or similar inclusive education frameworks.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and resources for teaching and learning.
