The Opportunity:

As a Learning Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential. This is a key position within the Inclusion Team, focused on promoting equity, inclusion, and academic success for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support small groups of students with specific SEN requirements through targeted teaching.
  • Provide one-to-one tutoring to individual students to meet their unique learning needs.
  • Deliver tailored learning support across the curriculum to help students succeed academically.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and assist with the smooth induction of new students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop effective learning strategies.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of inclusive policies and practices across the school.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in learning support or education.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in supporting students with special educational needs.

Preferred

  • Qualifications in education or related fields.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of SEN frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with curriculum support and individual learning plans.
