Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the school’s library collection, ensuring resources are up to date and accessible.

  • Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
  • Oversee the purchasing and management of library materials, adhering to local and international regulations.

  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all students and visitors.
  • Utilize library management software to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • At least 5+ years of experience in a similar librarian or library management role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information & Library Management or a related field.
  • Professional knowledge in library management and resource development.
  • Familiarity with overseas purchasing procedures and local regulations.
  • Experience working with ESL students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to child safety and wellbeing.

Preferred

  • Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and student engagement.
  • Experience in an international school setting.
  • Knowledge of child development and positive disciplinary methods.
  • Ability to differentiate and challenge students of varying abilities.
