Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver life skills programmes tailored to individual pupil needs
Support pupils in developing independence, social confidence, and practical abilities
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure continuity and effectiveness of learning
Track pupil progress and contribute to reporting and reviews
Promote a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment
Develop creative and engaging learning activities that support pupils’ personal growth
Work closely with multidisciplinary therapists to support pupils’ development
Ensure that learning outcomes are effectively transferred into the classroom

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified teacher with experience in special education
Experience working with pupils with autism and complex needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families, and staff
Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Preferred

Experience in designing and delivering life skills programmes
Knowledge of therapeutic and holistic approaches to education
Experience with behaviour management and support strategies
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of learners
