The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Live-in Gardener to maintain the beautiful grounds and properties of the institution. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of a historic and prestigious estate, while being part of a dynamic and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain formal and informal garden areas to the highest standards.
- Perform a wide range of horticultural tasks including pruning, weeding, planting, mowing, and fertilising.
- Operate and maintain horticultural equipment such as tractors, utility buggies, and automated mowers.
- Ensure all outdoor areas remain clean, safe, and free of weeds and hazards.
- Assist with the maintenance of property and estate at Boveney Court, including checking for damage and reporting issues.
- Support lettings and events by preparing and maintaining outdoor spaces.
- Carry out specific projects as directed by the Gardens Supervisor or Property Manager.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and ensure the wellbeing of colleagues and visitors.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A National/Scottish Vocational Qualification Level 2 in Horticulture or equivalent.
- Relevant gardening experience.
- A valid UK manual driving license.
- NPTC PA1 and PA6 Spraying Certificate.
Preferred
- Basic tree survey qualification.
- Experience working with automated mowing equipment.
