The Opportunity:

As a Lower Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds aged 6-11 in a bilingual Montessori setting. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated educator to make a lasting impact on students' learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support students in a bilingual environment following Montessori principles.
  • Collaborate closely with a Czech Class Teacher to deliver a cohesive and engaging curriculum.
  • Foster the development of students' English language, social, and communication skills.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in school events, activities, and trips.
  • Support students in their academic and personal growth through individualized instruction.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented approach, working with a bilingual staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and training programs.
  • Supervise and guide students during classroom activities and transitions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Native English speaker from an English-speaking country.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience in teaching or assisting in a Montessori or alternative education setting.
  • Commitment to long-term professional growth in Montessori education.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Previous teaching experience in Europe or an international setting.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods and values.
  • Experience working in a bilingual or multicultural environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
