The Opportunity:
As a Lower Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds aged 6-11 in a bilingual Montessori setting. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated educator to make a lasting impact on students' learning journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and support students in a bilingual environment following Montessori principles.
- Collaborate closely with a Czech Class Teacher to deliver a cohesive and engaging curriculum.
- Foster the development of students' English language, social, and communication skills.
- Assist in organizing and participating in school events, activities, and trips.
- Support students in their academic and personal growth through individualized instruction.
- Contribute to a team-oriented approach, working with a bilingual staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and training programs.
- Supervise and guide students during classroom activities and transitions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Native English speaker from an English-speaking country.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Experience in teaching or assisting in a Montessori or alternative education setting.
- Commitment to long-term professional growth in Montessori education.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred
- Previous teaching experience in Europe or an international setting.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods and values.
- Experience working in a bilingual or multicultural environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
