The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a form across a range of Key Stage 2 subjects with enthusiasm and expertise.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to teaching and learning.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in Key Stage 2 education.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on additional responsibilities as required.
  • Experience in pastoral care and student support.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a similar ethos and educational philosophy.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of teaching methods and resources.
