The Opportunity:

As a Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the school’s external profile and driving engagement with key audiences. This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who can balance creative vision with operational execution while aligning with the school’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the annual marketing plan aligned with the school’s strategic goals.
  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns targeting prospective parents, alumni, and stakeholders.
  • Shape messaging priorities and campaign calendars in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality written content for publications, newsletters, and campaign materials.
  • Manage digital advertising and coordinate campaigns with the Commercial Team and Development Office.
  • Ensure campaigns reflect audience insights and data-driven strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Team to deliver persuasive multimedia content.
  • Support alumni engagement and fundraising efforts through targeted campaigns.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Degree or relevant professional marketing qualification.
  • Proven experience in strategic marketing or admissions marketing.
  • Demonstrable track record in developing and executing multichannel marketing strategies.
  • Strong digital marketing and social media management skills.
  • Excellent copywriting and editorial abilities.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to prioritise audiences and messages.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Preferred

  • Experience in the education sector or working with independent schools.
  • Knowledge of UK and international pupil recruitment strategies.
  • Experience in developing and managing digital advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
