The Opportunity:
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the academic and personal development of students across the IB MYP, DP, and IGCSE programs. You will contribute to a dynamic, international learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and global citizenship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to students across the IB MYP, DP, and IGCSE curricula.
- Design and implement concept-based units of inquiry with authentic assessment tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a high-quality, internationally focused curriculum.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students at all levels.
- Foster a constructivist learning environment that promotes student autonomy and engagement.
- Support the school’s mission by promoting international-mindedness and service learning.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the wider school community.
- Teach additional subjects as required based on departmental needs and your expertise.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field with a teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics in the IB MYP, DP, and IGCSE programs.
- Strong understanding of the International Baccalaureate curriculum and philosophy.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational research.
Preferred
- Experience teaching an additional subject such as Physics or Digital Design.
- Experience in curriculum design or leadership within an international school setting.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
