The Opportunity:

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the academic and personal development of students across the IB MYP, DP, and IGCSE programs. You will contribute to a dynamic, international learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and global citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to students across the IB MYP, DP, and IGCSE curricula.
  • Design and implement concept-based units of inquiry with authentic assessment tasks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a high-quality, internationally focused curriculum.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students at all levels.
  • Foster a constructivist learning environment that promotes student autonomy and engagement.
  • Support the school’s mission by promoting international-mindedness and service learning.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Teach additional subjects as required based on departmental needs and your expertise.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field with a teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics in the IB MYP, DP, and IGCSE programs.
  • Strong understanding of the International Baccalaureate curriculum and philosophy.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational research.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching an additional subject such as Physics or Digital Design.
  • Experience in curriculum design or leadership within an international school setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
