Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality Mathematics lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Prepare students for GCSE success with a focus on practical and meaningful learning
  • Embrace the school's land-based specialism to make Mathematics relevant and accessible
  • Contribute to a culture of ambition, warmth, and professionalism
  • Support students in developing confidence and a love for Mathematics
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school and department

  • Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students where appropriate

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to student-centered learning and inclusive education
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred

  • Experience with land-based or vocational learning
  • Familiarity with the Studio School model or similar educational frameworks
  • Experience with integrating real-world applications into Mathematics teaching
  • Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love of learning
