Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality Mathematics lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Prepare students for GCSE success with a focus on practical and meaningful learning
- Embrace the school's land-based specialism to make Mathematics relevant and accessible
- Contribute to a culture of ambition, warmth, and professionalism
- Support students in developing confidence and a love for Mathematics
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school and department
- Participate in curriculum development and school initiatives
- Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students where appropriate
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge
- Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to student-centered learning and inclusive education
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Preferred
- Experience with land-based or vocational learning
- Familiarity with the Studio School model or similar educational frameworks
- Experience with integrating real-world applications into Mathematics teaching
- Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love of learning
