The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction at the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) level. This role offers the chance to shape young minds, contribute to curriculum development, and be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Foster curiosity and creativity through play-based and inquiry-based learning approaches.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners and encourage holistic growth.
  • Observe and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing feedback with parents.
  • Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment aligned with IB philosophy.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, building strong partnerships in support of each child’s development.
  • Promote school values and create a positive, inclusive classroom culture.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant university degree and/or recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in Early Years and/or Primary settings.
  • A strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate pedagogy.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A nurturing, patient, and positive approach.
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to short-notice cover requests.
  • A genuine commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
  • Confidence using ICT to support teaching and learning.

Preferred

  • Experience with EYFS, Cambridge Primary, or similar international curricula.
