The Opportunity:
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will inspire and challenge students across the secondary age range, delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the National Curriculum for England, IGCSEs, and the IB Diploma Programme. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of innovation and academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to students across the secondary age and ability ranges.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching practices to enhance student learning and outcomes.
- Act as a form tutor, contributing to the care and guidance programme and participating in co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and support the school’s mission and values.
- Engage students and parents in the wider school and Nord Anglia Education community.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and assessment, ensuring alignment with international curricula.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- A recognized teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, ideally up to the IB Diploma Programme.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and personal development.
Preferred
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
- Familiarity with IGCSE and National Curriculum for England.
- Experience in a multicultural and international educational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and integrate technology into teaching.
