Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons that challenge and inspire students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the Mathematics curriculum.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and initiatives that promote Mathematics and STEM learning.
  • Support the school's mission to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Engage with parents and carers to support student learning and development.
  • Stay up to date with current educational research and developments in Mathematics teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
  • Commitment to student-centered learning and inclusive education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and across the school community.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering Mathematics at GCSE and A-level.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Familiarity with using digital tools and resources in Mathematics teaching.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives or curriculum development.
