Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons to students across all key stages.
- Support students in achieving outstanding GCSE and A-level results through innovative teaching and personalized learning strategies.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of an extensive enrichment programme, including Maths Challenges and Olympiads.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental practices and promote continuous professional development.
- Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth, encouraging them to pursue advanced mathematical pathways.
- Participate actively in the school's academic and co-curricular life, including extra-curricular activities and events.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help students reach their full potential.
- Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and incorporate new teaching methodologies into the classroom.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE and A-level Mathematics curricula.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Further Mathematics or mentoring students for national competitions.
- A track record of achieving high student outcomes and academic success.
- Experience in developing and delivering enrichment activities in Mathematics.
- Familiarity with the use of digital tools and resources in Mathematics education.
