The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to inspire students and develop their passion for the subject. This role involves teaching A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, as well as preparing students for university entrance exams. The successful candidate will be an adaptable and enthusiastic educator who values continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Mathematics instruction up to A2 level, with a focus on student engagement and understanding.
  • Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations through effective teaching and formative assessment.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of educators to create an inclusive and innovative classroom environment.
  • Use educational technology to enhance student learning and differentiate instruction to meet individual needs.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities and contribute to the school’s vibrant community.
  • Stay updated with the latest safeguarding systems to ensure student wellbeing.
  • Engage with students’ cultural backgrounds, particularly within an EAL environment.
  • Demonstrate high expectations for both students and personal professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, with experience teaching up to A2 level.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic success.
  • Experience in using formative assessment to support student learning.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding systems and student wellbeing.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Further Mathematics and preparing students for university entrance tests.
  • Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE and A Level curriculum.
  • Experience working in an international or EAL environment.
  • Willingness to engage in cross-school projects and exchanges of practice.
