Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction aligned with the IB MYP and DP curriculum.
  • Develop and implement engaging, student-centered lesson plans that promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Support the academic and pastoral development of students through individualized guidance and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
  • Participate actively in co-curricular and extracurricular activities that align with the school’s mission and values.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments to monitor student progress and achievement.
  • Stay current with educational research and best practices in mathematics education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in mathematics education.
  • Strong understanding of the IB MYP and DP curriculum.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s mission, values, and ethos.
  • Willingness to participate in all aspects of school life, including co-curricular and pastoral duties.

Preferred

  • Experience in a British international school setting.
  • Familiarity with the Malvern College heritage and educational philosophy.
  • Experience with teaching in a multicultural and international environment.
  • Leadership experience or potential for future leadership roles within the school.
