The Opportunity:
A Mathematics Teacher - MYP and DP is sought to inspire and educate students within a dynamic, international learning environment. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality instruction aligned with IB standards and supporting student success across the MYP and DP programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective lessons aligned with IB criteria and school curriculum expectations
- Assess students effectively and provide regular verbal and written feedback
- Support students in MYP Personal Projects and DP Extended Essays
- Maintain accurate records of student attainment and attendance
- Liaise with support teams and report safeguarding concerns
- Deliver Wellbeing Time and PSHE lessons as a tutor
- Engage in curriculum development and share resources with the department
- Support university counselling processes and contribute to IB curriculum development
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- QTS/PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching A Level, AP, IB MYP or IB DP
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
Preferred
- Experience with IB curricula
- Experience in an international school setting
- Experience teaching 17–18-year-olds
- Experience supporting TOK
